I think I've finally figured out what I'm going to do with this blog…

Written by L3 on Wednesday, January 13 at 18:38

It's taken me several months, but I finally know what I want to do with these blogs I started, then swiftly ignored.

We'll see how well the idea comes to fruition.

My posts are going to share some of the stuff I've run across that I enjoy using, eating, having, being, seeing, wearing, and whatnot – things that I believe are worth the price-tag or cost of admission.

If you're not a Geocaching, computer-using, technophile, cat-loving woman, that's okay. You won't always get something out of my posts, but there's other times when you just might. ;-)

The Homeowner Club has a new member...

It's official; I'm moved into my new house! What a crazy week. I've decided moving is about as much fun as being force-fed fifteen pounds of live trout.

Pictures will follow... just as soon as I remember what box my camera's cable is in.

Home Saga Continues!

Well, it's official(ish). The seller and I have agreed to terms on the house purchase (they've agreed to make all of the repairs I asked for!) and we're moving toward closing once again. Sometimes this process seems so slow, much like a bath towel trying to pass through a garden hose.

Have I mentioned that this house has pumpkins in the back yard? No kidding. A vine, with pumpkins and everything. You can come visit, but bring whipped cream.

House Buying Freakout

So... I'm working on buying a house. What an entirely unnecessarily complicated process!

If I were in charge of the world (what, I'm not yet? stupid voters.) I'd simplify things.

Maybe this would be easier in the Matrix. You know, go to a website run by the robots, add 2 bedrooms and a bath to your shopping cart, type in your carpet discount code and they insert it in any neighborhood you like. Right into the Matrix. In about 13 milliseconds.

Oh, and it doesn't really exist, so there's no mortgage... right?

Some typos concern me more than others

Now granted, I tend to have a pet peeve about spelling. But sometimes misspellings raise my hackles as well as my eyebrows.

While browsing on Amazon.com, I ran across this revolutionary new pet drinking fountain. One of its many incredible features is that it can completely de-bone a cat.

Don't believe me? Read the ad yourself.

Now try to tell me that the cat in the picture doesn't seem wary.

Am I a Blogger now?

It seems that most everyone nowadays has a blog, so why shouldn't I? I mean, I got conned into joining MySpace so it only seems fair that I try the blog world as well, right?

We'll see how this goes. Generally my musings are forgotten well before they can be recorded and they may not be worth recording in any event. Only time will tell.
